Constantly Thinking: Skills Gap
Manufacturing Skills Gap I am a college graduate (B.A. and M.B.A.) and I know many people who, both did or did not, attend and graduate college. I can say now, with some age and observation, and very high level of confidence, that a college degree does not determine the sucess level of an individual . In fact, there are many other driving forces outside of that degree, that can determine if one is going to be a "sucessful" individual. In the broadest terms, we really need to get out of the habit of selling our society a dream of sucess through the sole means of college. There are many differnent ways to achieve success, however we individually define success . With that, I have come across a great article on the Manufacturing Skills Gap ; and the need we will have in the future for these skilled laborers. Always ask "why"
